Settling for ‘Almost Love’??? 💔

…When God Wants to Give You Everything ✨

Honestly, dear, some of us are out here holding onto relationships that have more red flags 🚩 than a political rally. (IYKYK). You’re praying for clarity, but deep down, you already know the answer—this is not God’s best for you.

It might be inconsistency, maybe they “love you but aren’t ready for commitment,” or maybe you’re just convincing yourself that they’ll change. Either way, you’re settling for almost-love when God wants to give you everything. So why do we do this? Let’s get into it.

1️⃣ Fear of Being Alone

Let’s be real. Sometimes, we hold onto shaky relationships because we’re scared of being alone. That “good morning” text 📱 from your almost-lover feels better than an empty chat screen, right? Wrong.

Reality check: God’s plan for your love life doesn’t involve you begging for attention. If someone isn’t willing to love you with clarity, commitment, and Christ-like intention, then they’re not God’s best for you.

📖 Psalm 84:11“No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

✨ If it’s good for you, God won’t hide it. If He’s saying no, maybe that almost-love isn’t a blessing—it’s a distraction.

2️⃣ Asking for Boaz but Entertaining Babylon

Some of us are praying for a Boaz but texting a Babylonian. 😬 We’re asking for a God-ordained relationship while entertaining situationships that don’t even have a destination.

Sis, you can’t ask for steak 🥩 while holding onto crumbs 🍞. If you truly believe God has good things for you, then trust Him enough to let go of what isn’t working so He can bring what will.

🔥 Challenge: Instead of asking “God, will they change?” start praying “God, is this from You?” The answer might surprise you. 👀

3️⃣ Settling for Just Enough, When God Gives His All

We’ve normalized relationships where people do just enough to keep us hooked but never enough to bring peace. But God’s love doesn’t operate like that.

📖 Romans 5:8“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Now that’s intentional love. ❤️

If you wouldn’t accept inconsistent effort from God, why accept it from someone claiming to love you? The love God wants for you will honor, cherish, and reflect His heart.

Don’t settle for ‘almost’ when God’s best is intentional. 💍

The Big Question: Almost-Love or God’s Best?

Are you settling for vibes when God wants to give you a covenant? 📝 Are you holding onto confusion when God offers clarity?

Maybe it’s time to walk away from ‘almost’ and wait for God’s ‘all in.’

🚫 Love that isn’t intentional, Christ-like, and leading to commitment is just a distraction with good PR.

👀 So, what’s it gonna be?
💔 Almost-love?
💎 Or God’s best?

The choice is yours. ❤️✨
